I have been using this software for over two years now and I am really impressed with it. Before deciding to buy I looked around to see what other software offered and for purely running this beats them all. I have continued to see what is on offer but have not been tempted away from RunPlan. It really is the best.

Wow! This is THE app for planning your training on the go. Whether or not you use the logging portion for your runs is irrelavent; this is the ONLY app I've found for planning and automated datebook entry of your intents. This is a must have for the tecno-oriented runner.

I've been using this application since V1.2. At that stage, it was a useful app, though had a few bugs and some obvious areas of functionality that could be improved and added. I am very pleased to find that all of these concerns have now been addressed in V2.0, and more besides. Not only is it now easy to do things like compare your runs over a particular course, or compare your heart rate over runs of a particular distance; you can now keep track of the mileage you have done in a particular pair of running shoes (very useful), export the data to a format that you can import to Excel etc etc.
It is also worth mentioning that the author has been very willing to incorporate ideas for improving the product.
For me, this is now a 5-start app in every sense. Highly recommended.

This is far the best running planner and running log software for Palm OS. I have tried all similar products, but this has the best combination of features. I especially like the extensive stats options, like showing min/max/averages for 1week/2weeks/30days/3months/6months/1year/all as numeric results or bar graph. Also, I can enter various running courses and filter the log accordingly. The planner lets you automatically enter planned run dates into Date Book, then tell you if you were behind the planned duration/distance or not. Version 2.0 also supports data export, e.g. into Excel.

I've now had a response from the developer, that he is working on V2 of the product, which will hopefully address some of my suggestions. I'll add a further review of V2 when I receive it.
