I have never used a program like this before but after reading that people who keep a food diary are more successful at weight loss, I decided to give it a try. It is an outstanding product, and makes tracking your food intake, exercise, weight, and measurements simple. The best thing about this product is that it is teaching me to control how much I eat, because I am much more aware of how many calories are in the foods I choose. Highly recommended.

This is a great program and love being able to sync it with the desktop program. The only draw back is for some reason the Food Data base becomes corrupted and then you can't use the program. But I copied the Diet and Food database on my Palm Treo 650, then when it happens I just go to those files using FileZ and copy them back to the handheld and it goes back to working normally.

I am 47 years old, male, engineering manager. I lost 40lbs. in 6 months. I found the beginning process to be very intuative. The database very inclusive. If exactly what you ate isn't there, something close is or you can easily add it. I highly recomend this.

I lost 50 lbs. in 4 months. The program is easy to use and only takes a minute or so to enter your food after each meal.
The data base is easy to customize so that you can set it up to include your favorite meals. Which can mean just one quick entry after each meal. I recommend getting a food scale and some measuring cups with it. I was surprised at how large a cup of food was and at how little some foods weigh. It allowed me to eat a bigger portion than I would have otherwise.
The best thing about this product was that it trained me to eat healthier foods and to control how much I ate. Generally speaking healthy foods have less calories than unhealthy foods so you can eat more.
The other thing that is nice is that you don't have to ban any foods from your diet. If you feel like pizza or ice cream go ahead and eat it. Just don't go over your calorie limit for the day. What I found was that after a while I gravitated to the healthier foods automatically. It was a lot easier to cut out the daily cone at McDonalds and the bag of chips on the way home from work once I knew exactly how many calories they contained.
